Our Traditional Catalan food
In Catalonia there are traditional food.
Today we talk about us
In Sant Joan is tradicional eat a cake. This cake call "coca de Sant Joan". They cake is make of "mazapan", this is a type of plumcake make with sugar.
In my opinion this cake is very tasty.
A popular eat is a bread with tomato.
Catalans eat much and there are pubs that they give you all type of salami and ham with salt which is typical of Sapin. They are speciality about hams arround the Catalonia.
Some catalans eat ham with salt and bread with tomato every night or to have breakfast.
The salami are very popular because here there are a lot of salamis and all types.
Our salamis are distributed arround the world and they are very well-known.
Another popular food is a desert they call "crema catalana".

- 1/2 l. of milk
- 4 egs
- 125 g. of sugar
- 20 g. de midó en flor
- cinnamon
- peel lemon
- 40 g of sugar to burn the cream
Italian food*
Today I am going to talk about Italian food which I love, PASTAA
I think that it is a nutritive food and it's very tasty.
The best is that we can choose different types of paste, that can be with some ingredients like tomato, vegetables of all kind, eggs, tomatoes, bread, cheese, cream...among others.
SALAD PASTA
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of green pasta
- big leaves of lettuce
- 4 tomatos
- 1 carrot
- 4 wrong eggs
- 50 grs. of emmental cheese or gruyere
- 1 onion
- thyne
- oil
- vinegar
- salt
- pepper
- black olives
1. In the bowl put the leaves of lettuces. It has to cover the back of the recipient with the pasta cooked.
2. Cut the onion in slices and mix it with the pasta. Thin slices of cheese, too.
3 Around the bowl put tomatoes and the wrong eggs broken on the half. Also, put slices of carrot decorating the bowl
3. Finally, descorate the bowl with some black olives and give taste with the oil, vinager, pepper and salt. If you can, pu also thyne.

carnivaaaaLS*
Carnival is a traditional festival where people disguise, in groups or alone and go out with the rest of people in the city.
The people who see the carnival laugh and enjoy because it is a party to prepare the next quiet week called Semana Santa.
The nearest carnival from my city is Roses, and people around here every year go to enjoy a good carnivall with friends, boyfriend or girlfriend or family.

This year I and Cristina just go to see the carnival, but Nuria always disguises and go to dance with her family and their friends. This year they disguise of Fiona, and I think that it will be a good time!
Cristina go to Carnival with friends of the school and I go with my family who are near me this time.

Christmas catalan traditions
- El caga tió: is a very important catalan tradition waited for the catalan childrens.
The Tió is a trunk that has eyes, mouth, clothes, etc...
On 24th December the catalan children hit his trunk singing a song, and then Tió give them some presents.

Hello people!
Today, we are going to talk about Grease el Musical.
Last Thursday 22nd November we went to Barcelona to see Grease el Musical, with Edurne as Sandy (Olivia Newton), at Victoria's Theatre
The 4th classes went together and had a nice day! The musical was incredible, fantastic..
The musical was about a pair of students who fell in love in the summer and when the secondary school starts they meet again and live a love story with some problems, due to their friends.
In the musical everybody was dancing and singing...
The theatre was full of people of all ages.
We think that you have to go to see this musical because it's an experience that you have to live.

...our city Figueres*
Figueres is a small, ancient and cozy city.
It has a mediterranian ambient for the sea, the people and traditions.
There are interesting places as the most famous museum Dalí, Toy museum... and there are interesting places for everybody: shops, cinema, coffies shops, bowling...
Figueres has some places to go out at night: night bars with music where you can chat with your friends, called Plaça del Sol.
It's a fairground city, with different topics and innovations: Firagri (Agriculturalist), Mostra del Vi de l'Empordà (Wine), Sant Josep Fair, Festes de la Santa Creu ( the local party here), Fira-mercat, Toys Fair, Fira rebaixada and Sant Jordi's day, among others...
I think that Figueres has an special charm...and we love this city.

to start we are three girls, our names are Núria, Cristina and Giovanna.
Núria is 15 years old and she's a girl that likes all about parties, she likes meeting new people and going out to drin

Cristina is 15 years
old and she's a very very very good student. She lives near me and she has a new motorbike that is very beautiful. She likes swimming, going out with her friends and going to the shops. She has a brother and she lives with he and her parents.
And I'm Giovanna, the people calls me Giovy and I'm 15 years old. I live in Vilafant and I like dancing, reading and writting, going out with my friends, shopping and being with my boyfriend.
